| Rolor Commercials Ltd. was established in 1982 by a group of local businessmen led by Mr. Tommy Ryan. At the official opening of the company's premises at Grannagh near Waterford, the then Mayor of Waterford Ald. Joe Cummins congratulated the directors on their initiative and wished the company every success. Indeed success followed and in the intervening years the company has become known throughout Ireland, and especially in the South East, for its dedication to customer service, keeping commercial vehicle owners highly satisfied and 'on the road'. This success continues to-day under the management of directors Charlie Rogers and Tom O'Hanlon.
Since 1982 Rolor have been Main Dealers for DAF trucks. The company is an appointed DOE testing centre for both Light and Heavy Commercial vehicles.
In 2005 the company became part of the Sheridan Motor Group and this development has given the company the confidence to invest heavily in the future, to provide customers with the best possible facilities to meet their growing needs. The Sheridan Motor Group was itself founded in Waterford in 1915 and is now one of Irelands leading motor companies. |
